Select Toolbar

The Select Tool Bar above displays all of the options for the Select Tool. Click any icon in the toolbar above to display its function.

Exit

Escapes from Select mode and starts default tool. The Default tool can be either Select mode or Create mode depending on the setting in the System Parameters- Advanced Tab.

Stitch It

Builds Stitches on current selection.

This icon will apply any changes you have made in Select Mode. For instance, if you use the Select Mode wire frame handles to manipulate the shape of an object click this icon to apply your changes.

Alternatively, you can press Enter to apply the changes or click the Right Mouse button and select Apply.

Delete

Deletes current selection.

This will remove the selected item or items from the current canvas.

Click the right mouse button and selecting Delete from the menu or pressing the Delete key on the keyboard will also delete the object

Mirror

Mirrors current selection

This button will flip the selection on the horizontal plane.

Flip

Flips current selection on the vertical plane.

Rectangle Select

Allows selection of blocks by click and drag of a rectangle

Select items by clicking and dragging a rectangular box around the area to be selected. The items need not be totally enclosed in the rectangle to be selected.

Lasso Select

Allows selection of blocks by multiple clicking of an irregular shape outline.

Select items by clicking around the area to be selected. This method allows you to draw irregular shapes to ensure you only get the items you want.

Invert Selection

De selects the blocks that are selected and selects the blocks that are not selected.

This function can be a time saver if you want a lot of a design. Instead of selecting all of the individual elements, it can be quicker and easier to select the few items you do not want then invert the selection.

Select All

Selects the entire canvas

The fastest way to ensure you select all the elements of a design. Can also use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+A

Colors Bar

Select by color.

Whenever Select mode is activated, the colors of the design are displayed in the Select Colors bar. To quickly select and entire color, click its associated block on the colors bar. Multiple colors can be selected. Colors are selected and de selected with a click of the mouse.
