This function pastes the contents from either the Copy List clipboard or the Windows clipboard depending on the setting in the System Parameters Advanced Tab.


Pasting from the Copy List


  1. Select Paste from Edit pull down menu.

If Paste is not available there is nothing copied to the clipboard See the procedure Copy to place some contents on the clipboard in order to proceed. 

  1. If the Copy List is enabled, you will see an image like the one at the right containing items you have previously copied and saved to the Copy List.
  2. If the Copy List is disabled, the last copied item will be pasted into the current canvas
  3. Click the item in the clipboard you would like to paste into the current canvas
  4. Click Paste

The selected item will appear in the canvas in a ghost image wire frame, the item can be resized, rotate, moved, stretched or skewed to achieve the desired look and placement. Review the Select mode section for instructions on how to manipulate the wire frame.

Enabling / Disabling the Copy List

  1. Select Tools > System Parameters
  2. Click the Advanced Tab
  3. Click on the Enable Copy List box, A check in this box will activate the Copy List, Uncheck to disable
