Freeform - Recipes - Cross Stitch

The Cross stitch recipe is used to fill free from shapes with hand sewn cross stitch simulations. This is a manual input method as opposed to the Auto Cross Stitch generation wizard as found in the Create Menu.

The Cross Stitch fill method utilizes a unique type of stitching. There is no Underlay or Automatic Outline in of a Cross Stitch pattern. All stitches in a Cross stitch design adhere to the same rules, This includes the connecting stitches between branches. Notice in the image at the right, the connecting stitch between the 2 branches has a 90 degree step in it. This is to prevent this connector from showing when the second color is sewn.
