Newer Barudan Machines use Compact Flash cards instead of Floppy Disks. These cards require special file structure in order for the machine to recognize the specific files. Use the Write to Barudan CF card utility to ensure proper file formatting.

There are 2 options in the Write to Barudan CF, Current Design , Other Design.

Current Design

This option will send the current canvas design to the CF utility. The CF utility will open as shown at the right.

The left side of the window lists all removable devices on your computer. In a case such as this where you may have a multi reader, you will need to select the removable disk that contains the Compact Flash

Once selected, from the left, the right side will display all folders on the Compact Flash device.

Barudan CF format requires all files be stored in folders.

Choose from the right side listing the folder you want to store the design in, double click to open the folder.

With the proper folder selected, type the name in the File Name box at the bottom, and click the Save Button

The design will automatically be converted to the FDR format and saved in the selected folder.

Other Design

This option allows you to choose any design on the computer to send to the compact flash utility.

When you first select this option, the window that opens will look similar to "Current Design" option.

This window, operates in the same fashion as the current design window allowing you to select a device and folder to store your design

Select the >> control in the lower right corner to open a secondary window.

The secondary window allows you to select a folder on your computer containing the design(s) you want to transfer to the Compact Flash card.

Select the desired folder on the left pane to display the designs. On the right pane, click the design you want to transfer.

In the top box, type in a name and click save
