Freeform - Recipes - Star Fill |
Star fill is normally used for small items such as buttons, eyes etc.. It is not intended for complex shapes or large areas. The Star fill makes no needle penetrations in the center where the stitching overlaps, thereby eliminating the possibility for thread breaks due to too many stitches being sewn in a small area.

General
Density
Distance between stitch points on the perimeter.
Connection Angle
The angle between the intersecting stitches. The value is based off of 90 being the maximum angle between stitching (limited by density) increasing or decreasing from 90 will result in fewer stitches and less uniform coverage
Step Coverage %
If you are using this method on a larger shape, the outer stitching will be Step fill. This setting determines how much of the star will be void of needle penetrations.
Step Length
Length of individual stitches in the outer fill area
