Repeat design will allow you to create a repeating pattern of the design or selection. If nothing is selected, the system automatically selects the entire design to repeat. In the case of repeating an entire design, the repeat function is useful to create patches or other types of embroidery where a logo is to be sewn several times in a single frame.
Grid Repeat places the selection in a horizontal / vertical table
Circular Repeat can be used with a radius setting to repeat a block or design in a circular fashion
Grid Repeat
Using the Grid repeat we can create a repeating pattern useful for sewing patches or other small items that will be stitched in a large frame and cut out later.
Horizontal / Vertical settings
Repeats
Designs Per line (horizontal) or column (vertical)
Distance
Distance between the designs
Indentation
Amount to offset the second line or column to allow a tighter grid
Radius
Used for Circular Repeats
Mirror /Flip
Mirror will reverse even numbered columns, Flip will flip vertically even numbered rows.
Distance between first points
The normal Distance calculation is between the outer edges of the object being repeated. This setting will change the measurement from distance between edged to distance between origins
Color Sequence
This option will sew all of the same color for all repeats at the same time. For instance, a 3 color design repeated 6 times will produce 18 color changes. With Color Sequence checked, there will still be only 3 color changes.

Circular Repeat
Designs or objects can also be repeated in a circular repeat.
In this example we start off with a very basic shape and repeat it in a circle until we get the end result
The radius is adjusted visually by holding down the up or down radius scroller, the preview will automatically adjust to show your finished result.
