Print

The Print Design function allows you to create a detailed reference of your design.

The left side of the Print Page is used to preview your design, The right side contains controls for altering the view.

Click any of the blocks outlined in red for a detailed explanation of its function

Toolbox

Select the Font style and size for the menu bar and mask

Set up page margins, line width etc..

Design

Prints the design as you see on this page. Choose to print the design , the color block analysis or both.

Page Options
	Multi-Page Printing. Allows printing of designs on up to 6 pages. Useful for large designs

	Set design size to actual size
	Set Design size to fill the paper

Show Options
Design	Select to show or hide the design within the print page. This is different than the design option at the top which will choose whether or not to print the entire design page.
Barcode	Displays a bar code on the print page. This bar code is available only on design that have been saved with the database active and can only be used by Compucons Netlink modules to retrieve designs from the server.

Company Logo	Choose to display a custom logo on the print page. Click the Company Logo button to import your logo
Frame Position	Displays a small graphic representing the sewing head at the top, bottom or either side to instruct the operator of the proper orientation of the design.

Mask
	The Mask option dictates what information will be displayed on the print page. The Mask Button allows you to change the displayed name in the banner and also allows changing the displayed stitch count.

The Mask Checkbox is a 3 position checkbox. Click on the actual checkbox to change its value.

Full Mask

Prints the full design mask with the full header, design information and listing of color changes at the bottom.

The thread numbers and thread codes are imported from the Threads tab in the designs Info Card.

Compact Mask
The Compact Mask lists an abbreviated version of the full mask, The color sequence is displayed as a series of colored numbers, no information is available.

No Mask

Hides all Mask information. Prints only the design with no information

Design Properties
	Frame:
	Outlines the dimensions of the design with a simple frame box.
	Color:
	Prints the design in color or monochrome black.
	Jumps:
	Displays or hides the connecting jump stitches as dashed lines

Origin and End Points:

Displays the location of the first and last stitch in the design as a a + for the Origin and an X(dashed) for the End.

Points:

Displays or hides stitch penetration points

Appliqué:

Displays or hides appliqué design fabric simulation

Size

Displays the designs actual size and allows selection of a specific zoom factor.

Color Block Analysis

The Color Block Analysis option prints the design in separate blocks by color. Each block is shown in its actual color or in a specific color selected by the operator.
The option "Show ghost design for background" displays the rest of the design as a ghost image to help indicate placement.
The option Use the color blocks below to draw all blocks can be activated to cause all blocks to be printed in the same color
