Manual Tie

The manual tie function will place a tie stitch (lock stitch) at current cursor position.

Tie Stitches are automatically placed in the design at Trim and Stop/Needle codes as determined by the tie policy. However, you may want to place tie stitch at theend of a block or line, even though a cut may ot occur.

This function is normally used when editing a stitch file where a previous design may not have been created with tie stitches.

If the design already has a cut function you can select the block previous in the object list in Blck Edit mode. Select Manual Tie from the drop down, and the system will insert a tie stitch at the end of the selected block.
