The E-Stitch is used primarily to hold down an appliqué, but it can also be used to produce other effects such as grass.

Embroidery Settings For E-Stitch

Enable Step:

Normally the E-stitch is created as a single stitch. However, if the column is wide, the e-stitch will be very long. Enable Step allows this to be sewn as step satin stitches. The E stitch will not normally be created at densities less than 10.

Step Length:

The length of the step in the e-stitch if Enable Step is activated

Random Step:

Enables a random type of stitch placement for the e-stitch

Random Percent:

Determines to amount of randomization for the stitch points

Set E every:

Determines how close together the E stitches will be placed. This control allows the E stitch to be placed on every 2nd, 3rd etc.. stitch. When using this feature, the intermediate stitches will be eliminated. The same effect can be achieved by changing the density.

Change Side:

Swaps the side of the column the E Stitch is applied to.
