Searching

The Database is an archiving system that allows you to classify or categorize all your designs into various groups.

You can use the Database to insert directories with designs.  Learn how to search automatically and find a specific design.  Specify which groups of designs you wish to look for and search for a specific company's designs.

The program's system automatically updates the Database every time you save, copy or delete designs using Compucon programs.

Note:  If you are copying, deleting, or moving designs, you must perform these operations by using Compucon's Design Management System, otherwise the database has no way of updating itself.  For designs that your read in from floppy disks or CF Card the database will update itself as soon as you save these designs to the hard disk.

You can categorize all the designs and you can use the Database for searching a specific design according to the searching criteria you have inserted.  Choose File>Database.
