Convert to Basic Curves

This option will convert items created with the Geometric Shapes to normal outlines. Convert to basic curves cannot be applied to shapes created in the Spiral Fill or Column Fill recipes.

 Why convert to basic curves?

The Shapes tool are specific on the types of shapes that can be created. For instance, a Square is and will always be a square. If however, you create the square and then want to change it into a more complex shape, instead of re-creating the entire block, you can convert to basic curves and edit into any shape you like.
